On the turning courses, most of the work takes place at the turning table. We step-by-step go through the stages of turning, from clay to the finished product, and then practice different shapes, large and small. As a participant, you have your own turntable with associated tools throughout the course. You have access to a range of engobes (clay colours), oxides and my own glazes. We work with stoneware clay that is fired at 1250 degrees. All items are therefore resistant to daily wear and tear as well as dishwasher, microwave and oven. After each course, we have a joint exhibition.
