Turning, basic course 18.00-21.00

Date : 2/11 and 3/11 (6 hours in total)

For who? The course is suitable for beginners and those who want to improve the basics of turning. No previous knowledge required. We go through all the steps from the ground up and you then practice based on your level. My courses are for adults (16+).

Course content: Demonstration and practical exercises of various steps in turning, from clay to finished ceramics. We practice centering, turning of different shapes and mission (polishing). After the course, I take care of firing and glazing, and finished products can be picked up before Christmas.

All participants have access to their own turning disc, turning tools and apron. We are a small group of 4 people so there is plenty of time for each participant. As a participant, you also have access to our joint course blog and website with instructional videos and inspiration.

Material cost is added with SEK 100/kg of clay, which includes colours, glazes and two firings. The material consumption per participant usually varies greatly, and therefore I have chosen to include that cost outside the course fee.

Registration: You register by paying the course fee. Before the start of the course, you will receive an invitation by email. Material costs are paid after completion of the course. The right of withdrawal with a full refund of the course fee is valid for 14 days from the date of payment. If you subsequently wish to cancel your place, the course fee will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of SEK 500. In case of cancellation later than 14 days before the actual start of the course, no refund of the course fee will be received. A course place may be changed or transferred in consultation with me. Read more about general conditions and right of withdrawal at the bottom of the page.
