UNIQUE opportunity for those who want to develop in turning! For two days, you get to focus on a theme under the guidance of two course leaders. I teach this course together with master potter and world champion potter Nina Bergqvist.

For who? The course is suitable for those who have some experience and want to develop further in turning. You must have some prior knowledge in handling clay, centering and placing. On the course we focus on designing, turning and finishing vases. Above all, we work on being able to get to the top. We show moments and techniques and you then practice based on your level. My courses are for adults (16+).

Course content: Demonstration and practical exercises of various steps in turning, assembly and dispatch of tall vases. You work at your own level with supervision. After the first firing, we go through glazing and various glazing techniques. At the end of the course, we have a collective exhibition where friends and acquaintances can come and admire the results.

All participants have access to their own turning disc, turning tools, apron and shelves for storing items and accessories during the course. Coffee/tea is available on my courses.

Material cost is added with SEK 100/kg of clay, which includes colours, glazes and two firings. The material consumption per participant usually varies greatly, and therefore I have chosen to include that cost outside the course fee. A benchmark can be that you get rid of 5-6 kg in one course.

Registration: You register by paying the course fee. Before the start of the course, you will receive an invitation by email. Material costs are paid after completion of the course. The right of withdrawal with a full refund of the course fee is valid for 14 days from the date of payment. If you subsequently wish to cancel your place, the course fee will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of SEK 500. In case of cancellation later than 14 days before the actual start of the course, no refund of the course fee will be received. A course place may be changed or transferred in consultation with me.
